Not sure why. The XMI files in the VDB are being loaded in a temporary container so EObjects can be searched. The check for existing model objects is really path based, based on what's stored in a permission (i.e. path-including-object-name) I have a fix that creates a path based search in the container's tree for existing objects instead. I've tested the scenerio above multiple times and can't break. Attached a patch was (Author: blafond): For some reason the tempContainer.getEObject() is returning null. Not sure why.
