Ted Jones commented on TEIIDDES-2432:
-------------------------------------
[~mmakovy], Ok.. the JSON transformation is corrected with the last commit. I am still seeing the row display issue though. This looks to be a DTP bug though (since we are using the DTP SQL Result display).

> Importing from REST JSON doesn't work. Defined procedure returns empty table.
> Steps to reproduce:
> 1. Create connection profile for some REST WS (JSON)
> 2. Import using this conn profile
> 3. Create VDB and execute it
> 4. Call procedure that was defined during import
> I have a test scenario for this import here:
> https://mojo.redhat.com/docs/DOC-990181
> I also tried another WS to be sure, that the problem is not in the webservice.
> (I tried some iTunes online search)

> When generating the transformation for rest procedure, in the invokeHTTP procedure, use named procedures. aka like
> invokeHTTP (action=>'GET', endpoint=>qp, stream=>'true')
> this way one can avoid putting the null parametes, as well as if there are additional parameters added to invokeHTTP as did in TEIID-3016 the generated procedure will be error free for next versions. I did see one error here with Teiid 8.9 Alpha, which is logged as TEIID-3107
