[JBoss JIRA] (TEIIDDES-2536) No connection to Teiid instance after starting DV from JBDS - refresh needed
by Matus Makovy (JIRA)
Matus Makovy reopened TEIIDDES-2536:
------------------------------------
I tried to verify this, noticed that after you start the server from JBDS it takes about 10 seconds(on my computer) for the Teiid instance to get enabled/connected automatically.
Actually, I tried to reproduce this also in 9.0.2 (affected version) and the behavior is the same. Would it be possible to enable/connect the teiid instance right after starting the server ?
I think this was the behavior in older versions of TD (pre 9.0.2)

> When you start DV server from JBDS there is no connection established to Teiid instance. You have to refresh server or Teiid Instance. Sometimes it is sufficient to expand particular server node in Servers view.

[JBoss JIRA] (TEIIDDES-2660) Add support in Designer for foreign keys cross models
by Van Halbert (JIRA)
Van Halbert created TEIIDDES-2660:
-------------------------------------
Summary: Add support in Designer for foreign keys cross models
Key: TEIIDDES-2660
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/TEIIDDES-2660
Project: Teiid Designer
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: Modeling
Reporter: Van Halbert
Add support in Designer for foreign keys cross models.
In Designer you cannot have a FK cross models. That is not a limitation with DDL metadata in Teiid. It's a misstatement to relate that to optimization. If the PK/FK is present we'll use that information just as we would in a single source - we do not however enforce the FK. That can be done through the use of an update procedure though.

[JBoss JIRA] (TEIIDDES-2659) Preview data will have deployed the driver to the server only after first error.

Matej Kralik updated TEIIDDES-2659:
-----------------------------------
Description:
I removed a driver from the server, then clicked to refresh teiid instance connection in the Jboss developer studio. (once or more) but preview data doesn't deploy the driver on the server and shows error (TEIID30498 Capabilities for [source model] were not avaialable. The command could not be planned properly.). And from now when I click to refresh teiid instance connection and I click to preview data, data will be show correctly.
