[JBoss JIRA] (TEIIDDES-2411) Add support for single line -- comments
by Barry LaFond (JIRA)
Barry LaFond commented on TEIIDDES-2411:
----------------------------------------
1) Import the DDL to create a View Model
2) View model's XMI has correct SQL
3) Open the 3 views in T-Editor
4) All three SQL has the same comments... For me it was the "typetest" comments

> When the DV server is started with port offsets means that in Teiid Designer, the Teiid Instance tab, the admin port needs to be adjusted accordingly. However, its not editable and doesn't pull its info from the Overview tab when port offsets are configured. This issue arises in cases where the server is externally administered and you don't wan to have to install a local EAP instance in order to manage it.

Barry LaFond commented on TEIIDDES-2887:
----------------------------------------
[~mmakovy] The admin port is not managed by Teiid, but by the AS Server definition, as is the port offset. Did you set-up your server with a port = *10000* ?

[JBoss JIRA] (TEIIDDES-2940) Moving model out of folder breaks imports
by Matus Makovy (JIRA)
Matus Makovy created TEIIDDES-2940:
--------------------------------------
Summary: Moving model out of folder breaks imports
Key: TEIIDDES-2940
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/TEIIDDES-2940
Project: Teiid Designer
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 10.0.2
Environment: Windows 7, Windows 8
Reporter: Matus Makovy
Attachments: Screen Shot 2016-10-18 at 14.45.03.png
After I move (for example) from folder directly into project folder the imports on view model (that depends on this model) break.
This happens only on win 7 and 8.

Not the view table, but the newly created materialized source table that was created based on the view to materialize.

> I have a table (for example PersonMatView) and I want to create materialization. I set 'create POJO' and set java class name to Person (screenshot1). After that in the generated JDG module is Person.jar but in the jar, the class has name same like the table (Personmatview.class). (screenshot2). Is it required to have class name same as materialized table?

> Hi,
> I'm using teiiddesigner 10.0 and teiid server 9.0.2.
> I've copied a previous vdb file called vdb3.14.vdb to vbd3.15.vdb and changed the version number to 15.
> I've then added a new xmi for a new database which I've generated through JDBC import.
> Now I wanted to change the permissions on this new database but I can't seem to alter the vdb file anymore.
> First off all The vdb shown some models that are not in sync with the model files. Clicking on synchronize all first shows them as beiing updated but closing and reopening the vdb file shows that they are still nog in sync.
> Opening the editor to alter the permissions also seems to work. But when you reopen the panel for the same usergroup the changes are not made.
