> When using the parseTimestamp function in the transformation editor while creating a relational view model, a StringIndexOutOfBoundsException is thrown. The query SELECT parseTimestamp('18:10:20', 'HH:mm:ss') is used in the transformation editor which gives 'String index out of range: 1'. I want to use the function with a column of my table but produces the same error.
> When deploying a virtual database and executing exactly the same query on the database, the query finishes successfully and gives the result.

> Importing JDBC sources via Teiid Connection importer can be streamlined by providing/setting certain default import property values.
> 2 such properties are:
> *Table Types* > *TABLE*
> *use Qualified Name* > *false*
> This will help in the most common use-case to reduce the number of steps to importer and improve the experience of first-time users.

> When exporting VDB with a UDF, the resulting DDL contains the RETURN parameter in the parameters list. According to the [Teiid docs|https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/teiid87final/Support+for+User-...], the return parameter should not be specified.

> A large transformation SQL of a view model is not exported to INDEX file.
> I have a large transformation SQL > 8192 bytes in my view model. TDesigner fails to convert the xmi to XXXXXXXXXX.INDEX file. There is no transformation SQL in the INDEX file, therefore, deploying my vdb fails and the vdb is inactivated. When you deploy the vdb, you can see the following message in a log file:-

> When using the JDBC importer with an Oracle datasource, Oracle Packages are not available to be selected. I am only allowed to select Tables, Views, and Procedures. There should be an option to select Packages, which in my case contains stored procedures.
> A ticket was submitted on the TEIID side to support this functionality.
