[JBoss JIRA] (TEIIDDES-2355) Provide an option to import pushdown functions

> The import property importer.importPushdownFunctions can be set to have Teiid include the pushdown functions as part of the imported schema and there by the ddl used by designer. With TEIID-3098 will prevent there from being ambiguity from doing so (either from multiple models or from the pushdown functions). So Designer should allow users to import these functions if they wish (it could even be a default option).

[JBoss JIRA] (TEIIDDES-2855) WSDL to Web Service model import doesn't work
by Matus Makovy (JIRA)
Matus Makovy updated TEIIDDES-2855:
-----------------------------------
Description:
When I hit context menu and then Import -> WSDL File or URL >> Web Service Model, select hello.wsdl (attached) and click next I get an error message saying: "The model descriptor must be supplied" (see screenshot) and I cannot continue. This works with TD 9.0.7. and doesn't work with TD 10.0.1.Beta1.
Is this an issue that is related to Web Service model deprecation ?

[JBoss JIRA] (TEIIDDES-2665) Add an option to not widen comparisons to string

> Our resolving logic considers anything with an implicit conversion to string to be a valid widening conversion in a comparison. For example:
> int_col = '1a'
> will effectively become cast(int_col as string) = '1a'
> Or with timestamps:
> timestamp_col = '1970-01-01'
> becomes cast(timestamp_col as string) = '1970-01-01'
> In equality cases the optimizer will infer that the predicate is simply false, but when used with greater/less than comparison we'll still attempt the query with the widening conversion.
> This is most likely not the intent of the user. It would be best to provide an option that would allow an exception to be thrown rather than assuming a query that may not match the user's expectations.

> Hello,
> We found an issue with import in the Teiid Designer that shows incorrect metadata for same tables exist in multiple schemas.
> For example, if we want to import table TABLE_A in the SCHEMA_A but if the same table name is also exist in other database schema in the same database instance, then it is showing incorrect metadata with schema name.
> Please take a look at the attached screenshots that shows importing table AAVALUE in PMX_SUPER schema shows the table AAVALUE in other database schemas PMX and PMX_GUEST instead of showing PMX_SUPER irrespective of selecting any of the option in the designer:
> - All schema
> - Only selected schema
> - Select and connection filtered schema
> Then, after importing the table, it is creating duplicate columns as shown in the screenshots.
