"Generate SQL Relationships" action allows multiple generations in same model
which then results in errors
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: TEIIDDES-953
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/TEIIDDES-953
Project: Teiid Designer
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Modeling
Affects Versions: 7.4
Environment: Fedora 14, OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.9.7)
(fedora-52.1.9.7.fc14-x86_64)
Reporter: Paul Nittel
I opened the RelationshipsTest project (Model Project Set attached), navigated to
TestModel.StoreMovies and generated SQL relationships. I created a new model in which the
resulting relationships should be stored. Then, I repeated the operation, but changed the
generator options. After saving the model, I found errors like this in the Problems tab:
The name REL0001 is the same (ignoring case) as 1 other object(s) under the same
parent fooTooModel.xmi /RelationshipsTest.
I believe it makes sense to add more relationships to the same model when they could be in
conflict. Perhaps a warning beforehand? Maybe don't allow it?
