The problem is, the doc's say the user can add the "." in the name in order
to version the vdb. And Teiid has provided this capability, which needs to be considered
for support in Designer. The question is, is this the right way to do versioning?

User can not use '.' for VDB name.
According to the Official document[1], user should be able to use '.' to specify
the version for VDB.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a new VDB named "test1.1"
Actual results:
error occurs. Please check attached screenshot named vdb_versioning_error.png
Expected results:
User can use '.' for VDB name.
