---------------------------------------------------------------
I'll try to sum up steps.
1) installed eclipse 3.6 from scratch
2) added teiid7.4
3) created new teiid project
4) import "metadata from jdbc database"
5) added a new connection profile (choosing sql server and adding driver and all the
stuff)
6) tested connection and it works
7) imported tables and views following the wizard
8) tables and views created and are correct
9) should be able to "preview data" from the running man but... it's
disabled
I've also followed some steps from documentation (chapter 10 of User Guide) but the
connection profile is set and seems right, it doesn't ask for password but password is
not listed in connection profile info (maybe for security reason) even if I checked the
save password option ad some step before.
Since if I change perspective and go to DB developer and run a query it works (but ask for
fully qualified name so "dbo"."nametable" and it seems strange, but
this could be something that in the model get lost?) I should not need any Teiid server
around.
I'm not testing any views as for now, just the base model (the blue one just to
understand)
