Paul Nittel created TEIIDDES-1385:
-------------------------------------
Summary: When editing a Web Service connection profile's URL, the new
value is not saved
Key: TEIIDDES-1385
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/TEIIDDES-1385
Project: Teiid Designer
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Import/Export
Affects Versions: 7.7.1
Environment: JBDS SOA-tooling
Reporter: Paul Nittel
I was running through the Create Web Services (SOAP) connection action when I realized I
didn't know the complete URL for the CountryInfo Web services. I entered
http://www.oorsprong.org/websamples.countryinfo/CountryInfoService.wso knowing I could
later change it (once I figured out what I needed--turns out it's just ?WSDL appended
to this string).
I was able to ping this Web site, and then went to edit the URL. I did so, but when I
applied and OK-ed it, the original value remained. There was no way to validate the WSDL,
since my URL wasn't pointing to it.
I wound up deleting the connection profile and doing it over, with the correct URL. We
need to save the changed value, though.
