But I know Designer devs have put artificial barrier to not to complete MongoDB translator import before, I am not sure if they removed it now or not. I have suggested many times that "Teiid Connection Import" should always go through no matter which data source/translator is being selected, even it returns empty or null DDL. In case of the empty or null DDL create a empty source model, that user can start modeling it by hand.
