I just tried an import using the same Designer version (although it was a fresh install;
not an upgrade). It was successful. Upgrade issue? Bernd, please attach the Designer's
log file (workspace/.metadata/.log).

Just an update here. I've tried a number of things in order to get this to work, but
nothing did. The most drastic thing being to completely remove eclipse with designer and
whatever else, download a fresh eclipse and then install the Designer 7.4 fresh. Still, I
get the exact same error. Any ideas as to what could be causing this? I'm at a loss
here at the moment.

I think I got too hung up with it being an upgrade issue. If I forget about my workspace,
and completely start from scratch, it's all working. So it's not an issue with
7.4. Fresh install and new empty workspace is working for me.
