Steven Hawkins commented on TEIIDDES-322:
-----------------------------------------
It's also quite confusing and difficult to add a mapping link on top of the scroll
problems:
- Adding a link can only be done from the mapping class transformation.
- With control or shift held down selecting a mapping class column will un-highlight a
mapping document entity that corresponds to a currently selected document model anchor (of
whatever the sideways home base is called)
- There is no drag and drop or right-click modeling option for achieving the same effect.
- Once group selected, mapping class columns cannot be unselected unless you click on a
drag handle.
- You cannot group select entities using the document model diagram.
Scrolling Issues In Coarse And Detail XML Mapping Diagrams
----------------------------------------------------------
Key: TEIIDDES-322
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/browse/TEIIDDES-322
Project: Teiid Designer
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Modeling
Affects Versions: 7.1
Environment: Fedora 8
Reporter: Dan Florian
Assignee: Barry LaFond
Priority: Critical
I could not get to the bottom of the mapping tree and see the associated mapping links
unless I collapsed most of the mapping tree and moved the scrollbars just a certain way.
When I would get close to viewing the mapping links the next click on the scrollbars would
move all the links way off the top of the screen. I was running the E2E XML Book Set Mixed
Test script. I also installed a 5.5.2 RC4 in Windows and didn't seem to have the
problem.
