Barry LaFond commented on TEIIDDES-2640:
----------------------------------------
Designer is set-up to perform modeling and dependencies within a single Model Project.
Cross-project dependencies were dropped several years ago. I did notice this same problem
yesterday in the New Model wizard when implementing a project/folder selection dialog for
another feature.
Our pattern has been to add logic in the UI's wizard manager to track the scope of
source/target models and restrict them to single project.
Copying Model to another Project

Key: TEIIDDES-2640
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/TEIIDDES-2640
Project: Teiid Designer
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 9.0.3
Reporter: stanislav kaleta
Priority: Optional
Fix For: 11.0
Is it OK, if its possible to create (source, view) model by copying from model in
different project?
I think it does not make sense to copy view model from one project to another.
