That's where there is some grey area in design. You would have an error only if the
function were not marked as pushdown required. Also, if we want to change pushdown to a
boolean pushdown_allowed metadata property that would be fine by me as there is little
value in having the pushdown optional vs. no pushdown since translators have to declare
support for a pushdown to happen.
In 8.0, the function metamodel has been deprecated, can the new model
wizard drop down indicate as such
