Barry LaFond resolved TEIIDDES-699.
-----------------------------------
Assignee: Barry LaFond
Resolution: Rejected
The "Index" relational object is a "sibling" of a table or procedure.
You can create an Index by selecting a table or view and choosing the New > Sibling
> Index action or selecting a Model/Schema and choosing the New > Child > Index
Rejecting as misunderstood functionality
No way to create an index for a relational table (either view or
source)

Key: TEIIDDES-699
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/browse/TEIIDDES-699
Project: Teiid Designer
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Modeling
Affects Versions: 7.1.1
Reporter: Paul Nittel
Assignee: Barry LaFond
Fix For: 7.1.1
While testing materialized views, we (Steve H and I) noticed there was no way to create
an index for a table. Keys and constraints, yes, but no indexes. There should be and
possibly was at one time.
