Re-executing VDB in Modeler gets "No suitable driver found
for..."
------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: TEIIDDES-12
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/TEIIDDES-12
Project: Teiid Designer
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Teiid Integration
Affects Versions: 6.0.0
Environment: Fedora 10
Reporter: Paul Nittel
Assignee: Ramesh Reddy
Priority: Blocker
Fix For: 6.0.0
I created a small project and VDB in Federate Modeler. After executing the VDSB, I went
back to the Designer perspective and made some changes. When I re-executed the VDB I got
the stale connection error. I went back to the Designer perspective, did File > Close
All, then re-executed the VDB. Almost immediately, I received this error:
Problem loading DQP Driver. See log for more details.
No suitable driver found for
jdbc:metamatrix:admin@mmrofile:/home/pnittel/Runtime-Workspaces/.metadata/.plugins/com.metamatrix.modeler.dqp/vdb-execution/workspace.properties;version=1;XMLFormat=Tree;EmbeddedContext=Designer;dqp.logFile=mmfile:/home/pnittel/Runtime-Workspaces/.metadata/.plugins/com.metamatrix.modeler.dqp/vdb-execution/workspace-10_47_43_Dec_08.log;
There is no such log in that directory. No logs at all, in fact, in that directory.
Regarding the "stale connection" error. I found that if I close the VDB
connection before switching back from SQLExplorer, it's OK. The automatic
disconnection appears to be broken.
