Steven Hawkins updated TEIIDDES-1946:
-------------------------------------
Priority: Minor (was: Major)
Workaround Description: As described above first create the table with an accepted
name, then change it.
Workaround: Workaround Exists
Dialog resticts name characters too much
----------------------------------------
Key: TEIIDDES-1946
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/TEIIDDES-1946
Project: Teiid Designer
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Modeling
Affects Versions: 8.3
Reporter: Steven Hawkins
Priority: Minor
Related to TEIIDDES-570 if I attempt to add a child view to a virtual model, the create
dialog restricts the name even if the "valid unquoted sql name" name option is
set to ignore.
If I for example am initially prevented from entering foo! as the name, I can create the
view as foo, then change the name in the property editor to foo! without a problem.
