Barry LaFond commented on TEIIDDES-2751:
----------------------------------------
[~sqtran] Note that for our test BQT2 Oracle box, the procedures that are defined in
packages ARE displayed in in the list of *procedures*. Selecting one shows the parameters
and you can see the first column property named PROCEDURE_CAT. This is your package name.
(rather than null).
So you could import that procedure prior to this fix, however, now the Name In Source is
properly set to use the package name prefix.
Add ability to import Oracle Packages via JDBC Import

Key: TEIIDDES-2751
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/TEIIDDES-2751
Project: Teiid Designer
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: Import/Export, Patch Release
Affects Versions: 9.0.2
Environment: Red Hat JBoss Data Virtualization 6.2 on EAP6.4.0 patched to version
6.4.3,
JBoss Developer Studio 8.1.0GA with Teiid Designer plugin
9.0.3.Final.v20150810-1438-B1157
64-bit Windows 7 environment
Reporter: Steve Tran
Assignee: Barry LaFond
Priority: Blocker
Fix For: 9.0.5, 9.2.1
When using the JDBC importer with an Oracle datasource, Oracle Packages are not available
to be selected. I am only allowed to select Tables, Views, and Procedures. There should
be an option to select Packages, which in my case contains stored procedures.
A ticket was submitted on the TEIID side to support this functionality.
