Ramesh,

I checked the changes that were done for this. Was this behaviour happening because of the following line in src.xml file:

<directory>${project.basedir}</directory>

Thanks,
Sumanth.

Sumanth,

I have logged and fixed source distribution issue

https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/TEIID-804

Starting with 6.2 release you should be able to just download the source
and build it right away if you have maven installed.

Thank you for exposing this bug.

Ramesh..

Following the instructions specified in: http://www.jboss.org/community/wiki/EclipseDevEnvironmentSetUpforTeiid , I imported the project into Eclipse and also performed the step with respect to Generating Maven Sources . I did a build and it gave me errors. I even tried: mvn install from the folder where the source was extracted and got the same error.
