Given that if we implement the metadata repository (I was thinking about writing one for TEIID-992), I guess we could extend to persist/load create methods, however the context VDB of something we can not express today with DDL, the vdb.xml is supplying that information. Can we think a way to completely remove the vdb.xml concept completely and use DDL?
