At this point we have addressed the issues brought up here. We should open new issues to cover additional concerns, such as providing a way to separate the ddl metadata from the vdb.xml in dynamic deployments. Or adding additional admin facilities for vdb.xml manipulation/restart - which is covered by TEIID-1328
