Unfortunately we don't have the resources to be able to debug your application directly.
Might I suggest you start from the uberfire showcase and strip it down to your requirements?
There is a lot of work going on at the momemt documenting "getting started" and the like, that will help in the medium term.

I have copied below mentioned js file to my project's /src/main/webapp/plugins but no luck. Do I need to have some extra configuration?

One thing that I could notice is the fact that your application doesn't have a default perspective... In UF Showcase we define perspective in two different ways, using pure JS and GWT component.
