Karl von Randow hmm, that sounds fishy, there are tests in the TCK that assert the ordering in this case (and Weld passes TCKs). For instance this test which uses 3 differently prioritized alternatives and asserts ordering.

I will look at what's involved to create a test case demonstrating this...
