Darryl Miles FYI in your particular case the bean identifier index consists only of built-in HttpSession beans which are not indexed since 3.0.0.CR2 and 2.4.3.Final (see also WELD-2343). I.e. the index would be empty for WildFly 11+ and no exception would be thrown.
