Antonin thanks for quick response! I've tried mvn test -pl envs/osgi/ -Dtest=MetricsPaxExamTest and the test failed with the LinkageError on JDK8 and IllegalAccessError on JDK7. Unfortunately, I'm no OSGi expert and I don't know much about OSGi bundles and CL constraints. I think the best we could do is to ask PAX CDI guys to look at this problem.
