I agree that filtering of Probe classes would be an additional layer of complexity and that it could, in some scenarios, lead to inconsistency.
However, from the user's point of view, Probe is simply not a part of the (domain of the) inspected application and is not something the user needs to see.
The question is, what is the purpose of Probe? Offering insight into and helping to understand...
