this is intended and was mentioned in latest news article.

It wasn't possible in this early release, but it is definitely something we want for next ones. I'll re-check availability of any EE 9 compatible servers we could test with. It looks like at least Tomcat has some early versions supporting this. What servlet are you targeting?
