The compile error is still present with Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.9.0-ea-b67). I guess groovy-eclipse-compiler doesn't support JDK 9 yet but I am not sure. Note also that wildfly-arquillian-common artifact (in version 1.0.0.Alpha5) has transitive dependency to sun.jdk.jconsole so this is failing as well.
