Yes the app was created using Intelijj (just wonder how you recognize it. I thought I deleted all the Idea related files.) Anyway I prefer to run app from the commandline (shell). I was able to reproduce the stacktrace above with Weld 2.2.14.Final. With Weld 2.2.16.Final I have another NPE because I needed to remove database.start() and ApplicationStart code from main method. The classpath is quite rich. So is there any further problem or I can set this issue as resolved?
