Ok, I've found the regression introduced in the fix for
WELD-2127
. Weld incorrectly extracts the ids for bean archives in WEB-INF/lib. These ids are not unique and the resolution may fail intermittently (my previous observations wtih debug mode were not correct). It shouldn't be a problem for classical WAR deployments.
