Re: org.jboss.cdi.tck.tests.lookup.manager.provider.custom.TestCDI relies on configuredProvider which is not portable [~rmannibucau] [~tremes] Yes, this was just a workaround. We need to unset the CDIProvider so that other tests are not affected. So if it's legal to use a custom  '  {{ javax.enterprise.inject.spi.CDI ' }}  we cannot test this in a portable way. I'm not sure whether there are other use cases for this (aside from TCK).
