Hi Brain,
I sent the same question to cxf-user list. The aegis databinding is still used by some user.We get to know
Aegis databinding is good at handling map-of-maps or map of collections data types for Java first web service
development. So we'd better extend support of Aegis databinding.

Thanks,
Jim

Hi Jim,

If you haven't already, I suggest asking on https://groups.google.com/g/wildfly, as there are many end users there who likely don't subscribe to the development list.

Best regards,
Brian

CXF Aegis databinding is possibly deprecated and removed in the future CXF release.
I am not sure if there are  WFLY users who are still using this feature now.
If you have any comments and concerns about this change, please let us know.

Thanks,
Jim
