given that we have Weld 2.2 in 8.x branch for upcoming 8.2 release.

and also in master, can you guys try with wildfly build that uses Weld 2.2, to see if that CDI proxyies fix helped.

Also there was a performance problem in the CDI proxies that was not
fixed until 2.2.
