What Jess showed me was this:

Basically create a file named ***.metadata.xml and it will be picked up.
That file needs to specify a technology and a list of JAR files

JavaClassBindingStatusTest.technology.metadata.xml

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<java-technology-metadata xmlns="http://windup.jboss.org/schema/jboss-ruleset">
<technology id="fakeserver"/>
<additional-classpath>lib/commons-io-2.1.jar</additional-classpath>
</java-technology-metadata>

Jess.

Could you perhaps add one jar as an example so that others can follow and do the rest? I think from what you showed me, it looks very simple. Just need to see one case of how it works so it can be expanded.
Thoughts?

Thanks,
Lincoln

The implementation is there, someone just needs to add a couple of jars and an xml to the rulesets.

This should be an easy task for someone to pick up, right?

That makes sense. It's way too noisy right now. We need to implement server profiles / classloader content lists in order to make that one actually useful.

All of the changes are in pull requests, but for the lab, I turned off the FindUnboundJavaReferencesRuleProvider for the time being.

Brad, this is fantastic. When we release a new version of Windup we'll have to get it in there. I assume all of your fixes are now PRs that we should be merging in soon? (Thus they will be in the next release.)

Team, I've updated the Windup Lab material, available at the link below. It has patched an issue and added story points to the base lab. Also, it has a refreshed Windup build, the Summit Lab & Summit Presentation material.
