Not at all.
I think if the AeroGear project (that's all of us) is doing a release, it
would be nice to _inform_ our larger community and ask for tests. Sharing
is caring ;-)
However, if (for whatever reason) we want to perform a direct release, with
no heads-up to the community and no heads-up to potential testers etc, I
_do_ think that needs to be discussed. There may or may not be valid
reasons to it.
It is nice to see that there is a release, no doubt. BUT in my opinion it
would have been mandatory to have a heads up for the larger community.
Again, sharing is caring.
It could have been a casual message like "something is coming soon, if one
cares, please test this branch/tag, if I hear nothing back in the next
three days, I will move on".
Messages like this are fundamental to an open development approach.
