[aerogear-dev] iOS 6 and Cordova push-sdk

If i'm developing an application with push support and wants to reach out to
all/majority of iOS users, do i need to create two different builds now?

Is it possible to modify existing native push library to use older apis for
iOS6 & below and newer ones for other OS versions? I'm assuming this has
already been thought through & has been eliminated due to maintenance issues
of the approach.

Thus far i have been using AeroGear libraries only with iOS7, so not sure if
same version works on older OS too.
