Our test WAR contains additional features, such as endpoints for generating data, proxying GCM content (in development). Might be handy for you. That said, I recall that direct grants have not been enabled as it opens additional point of vulnerability. I'd personally prefer to have it enabled by default and let user switch it off if he does not need it. I believe that it would be great if Keycloak configuration can be at least externalized. This is tracked by this JIRA: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AGPUSH-1047 Another library you might find helpful (especially if you don't mind getting your hands dirty with Java Code) is our Java binding for REST calls in UPS: https://github.com/aerogear/aerogear-testing-tools/tree/master/aerogear-ups-rest-api This library provides a fluent API over UPS endpoints. Message-ID: Hi, We are happy to announce that the Unified Push Server 1.1.0-alpha.1 has been released ! What is new ? The big new feature is the support of Windows Push ! Take a look at our Windows Push HelloWorld quickstart and the Windows Tutorial to help you to get started. Another cool feature that has been added is the Import/Export of installations. From the admin console, you can now easily extract in JSON format all the installations from a variant. The same way, you can import a set of installations for a particular variant. Besides that, a bunch of bugs have been fixed, you can check the full list here . Stay tuned ! http://aerogear.org/news/2014/12/03/aerogear-unified-push-alpha1-is-out/index.html -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I'm happy to announce the first release of the UPS Java Sender Forge Addon, This addon will help the developer to integrate the Java Sender into their existing applications. Basically it provides 2 commands : - unifiedpush-setup : will pull in the dependency and create a pushConfiguration.json file that contains the needed information (UPS url, PushAppID and master secret) -unifiedpush-generate-service : will generate a small service that wraps the Java Sender, you can then easily inject it into your business logic. The nice thing about Forge 2 Addons, is that you get JBDS Integration for "free" , so these 2 commands are available in JBDS as UI Wizards. I created a blog entry for that which also contains a screencast : http://blog-sblanc.rhcloud.com/?p=66 The code is hosted here for now : https://github.com/sebastienblanc/unifiedpush-addon but will soon be migrated under the AeroGear org. The reason I?m asking is that I deleted all the development tokens from the DB, but still couldnt receive a push message on a device. But I know that I?m sending push registrations to the production variant not just from the ?Free? version of my app (using the correct ?Free? variant ID and key), but also from the ?Paid? version (incorrectly using the ?Free" variant ID and key). Since I do not know the tokens sent from the ?Paid? version, I cannot disable them. Could this be the reason why I?m not receiving pushes? Since I?m using the OpenShift cartridge - what?s the best way how to proceed? Can I change the ?withNoErrorDetection? of ApnsService somehow? I'm trying to build an app with ionic that uses aerogear's phonegap plugin to receive push notifications. The behaviour I've observed when a notification arrives to an android device is: - When app not runing: 1- Alert show in the notifications area - OK 2- On click opens the app and the notification is processed fine -OK - When the app is running 1- No alert message in the notifications area - OK 2- When notification arrives is processed correctly. - OK - When the app is running but in background 1 - No alert message in the notifications area - Wrong because user doesn't realize that has a new message 2 - On app activation: notification is processed ok. I would like that in the last scenario the alert could be shown in the notification area when the app is running in background. Is that possible? Thanks in advance, Alex. -- Alexandre Ballest? Sounds like a bug of the plugin. Can you file a JIRA ticket for this: jira.jboss.org/browse/AGCORDOVA Thanks, Matthias > 2 - On app activation: notification is processed ok. > > > I would like that in the last scenario the alert could be shown in the > notification area when the app is running in background. > > > Is that possible? > > Thanks in advance, > > Alex. > > > > > > > > > -- > Alexandre Ballest?
