yes, we did found the same when fiddling with remote driver. "Old" configuration properties are not properly propagated to capabilities, as reported here https://issues.jboss.org/browse/ARQ-1048.

Does setting via <property name="capabilityFirefox_binary"> or similar setup works correctly?
