Yeah, this isn't an overly useful piece of functionality in the first place ;-) However, do many people really use this? In my experience people use stuff like JAX-RS for working in client-server models.

Anyway, let's move this to a different issue, as it's not really relevant to the original clarification, if you guys feel we need to pursue it).
