I'm not convinced DNA needs to ship with any JAAS implementation, but we certainly do need to have tests that verify we do work with a JAAS implementation.  We also probably want to enhance the documentation to show how to set up, configure, and use a JAAS implementation.  The JBoss IDTrust project is the JAAS implementation within JBoss AS/EAP, and would be a good implementation to use for our examples.
