section 5.3 of DNA reference guide, third paragraph down, last sentence states in part:

"and is an immutable interface patterned after the corresponding interface is JSR-170 and JSR-283. "

There should be a type specified as the second word in the above phrase with a link to its javadoc.  I'm not sure which type.
