Kevin Conner commented on JBESB-2974:
-------------------------------------

This is still possible in ESB 4.7 *iff* you use as4. It is the underlying application server behaviour that has changed.

The as5 behaviour is currently described on the wiki at http://www.jboss.org/community/wiki/JBossAS5integrationforESB4x and is consistent with our quickstarts. There may also be documentation in as5, where the change originated.

> There is currently no product documentation that I can find for how to include .jar files or .class files in an ESB archive. It appears that in ESB 4.6 and earlier, you can put jars in any folder of the .esb archive. In ESB 4.7, that seems to be changing because of the move to AS 5.
