Kevin, if you think this is ready, I can begin merging it into the core JavaEE 6 plugins. This would mean that it will be part of the forge distribution, and you'll have to send pull requests to make updates. Is that OK? I'd really like for this to be a part of forge itself (You will of course still have credit for all of the work.)

We already have a few JavaEE plugins:

persistence
faces
beans

(servlet facet)

and this would add 
"validation"

Thoughts?
