Victory! That did it.
However, I did have to make a manual change for the command to work. I had
to add this XML to switchyard.xml
<component name="Hello"></component>
<component name="Goodbye"></component>
Otherwise, the add-reference command complained there was no slot to put
the reference "component not found"
Now I get:
Hello, JAX
Goodbye, JAX
