Thank you a lot for your answer.

I will need a little bit more information for the setup. I come from the Eclipse RCP / plugin world and in the setup I know, the eclipse projects are contained in the git repository. I just need to import them with the wizard in EGit.
I have seen you work with a maven file structure, which seems great. How do I import the source as java projects in the Eclipse IDE? Do I need to do it by hand?
