Hi All,
like a good OSS citizen, ambassador and admin, I checked with gsoc
folks. This topic has been recently discussed by gsoc and the answer is
as follows:
==============
(10:08:36 AM) Michitux: asaldhan: the question was if organizations that
participated for two or three years under an umbrella org would be
subject to the limit for new orgs, and the official answer from cat
allman is that they would view them as experienced orgs
(10:09:55 AM) Michitux: asaldhan: and that the limit to 1 or 2 slots is
mainly in order to give new orgs a chance to learn how to handle the
demands of the program
(10:12:33 AM) asaldhan: Michitux: agree to the justification but as my
blog post says
(http://anil-identity.blogspot.com/2012/04/student-interaction-via-gsoc-has-been.html),
we are fully prepared. :)
==============
So now we have no excuses *not* to submit fantabulous proposals.
Regards,
Anil
