If not, how will the proposals of our org be ranked internally? Sorry in case that has been discussed somewhere, I couldn't find any information on this (it's my first year as mentor). The org admins will then ask for the slots. We have a working relationship with the GSOC office. From experience, we usually get enough slots for our best proposals/students. I will continue to seek additional slots from the pool where some slots have been returned by other orgs. The best student proposals will definitely get a slot. :) Regards, Anil From separdau at redhat.com Wed Apr 9 14:40:43 2014 From: separdau at redhat.com (=?ISO-8859-1?Q?St=E9phane_=C9pardaud?=) Date: Wed, 09 Apr 2014 20:40:43 +0200 Subject: [gsoc] Slots Allocation In-Reply-To: <53459370.1050606@redhat.com> References: <53459370.1050606@redhat.com> Message-ID: <5345942B.3090600@redhat.com> Sounds good, so how do we decide which student gets the slots, if the ranking is the same? Also looks like that's no more than one slot per project, which is fair, if low. Is it just me or did we get a lot more proposals this year than last year? Did we also get more slots or not?
