There are two use cases with the WF-agent:
- as is inside WF/EAP: here we need to aim for minimal footprint
- standalone inside WF-Swarm as proxy to get metrics from 3rd parties
and feeding that into Hawkular - like the existing protocol translator
(pTrans) does as well (but mostly in a passive, listening mode)
