But you're OK with the following instead?

@Entity
@Proxy(proxyClass=Employee.class)
class EmployeeImpl implements Employee {
    ...
}

?

See I find that (^^) less clear and less concise.

What's the basis for your gut to say -1?  Because it "breaks" from JPA?
